To the Hunter
Be aware when you approach my hidden
den in the savanna, where I lay to rest,
I may seem now just a purring pussycat,
however underneath my sunlit furry skin
sleeps a fearless lioness, and if you
try to catch me when I have my hunting days,
I might jump your bones, devour you slowly
bite by bite, till there is nothing left of you
and my hunger is satisfied. Be careful
when you approach my den , I am awake
and your daring attitude might change you
quickly from a hunter into a desired prey.
