Sunshine Meadow

Today, I walk the sunshine meadow
accompanied by birds and butterflies,
to rest in a bed of spring grass
made up with dandelions and daisies.
from afar comes the call of a cuckoo;

a distance I might not reach today
but there is always still tomorrow.
